From this page, you can download the source or binary form of the InnoDB Plugin, release 1.0.0 for MySQL release 5.1.23, which was announced at the 2008 MySQL User Conference. Downloads of other releases are available here.

Please see the documentation for instructions on installing a binary plugin. For instructions on how to build a version of MySQL with the InnoDB Plugin from source, please see this section of the documentation.

Note:
It is always wise to to back up your data before you install a new version of software. Although Innobase has worked hard to ensure the reliability of the InnoDB Plugin, even with this early adopter release, you should make a backup of your database before trying the InnoDB Plugin. You should also carefully read the documentation for the InnoDB Plugin, specifically section 1.4, “Operational Limitations”, before you use the plugin on any important database.
