Below you will find information about third party products that are using InnoDB.
Maguma PHP 4 Enterprise Edition
Maguma PHP4 Enterprise Edition supports the web developer during the complete development cycle as well as with the deploying of applications on the server.
The software integrates several popular open source products into one easy-to-use and powerful product. On the server side, Maguma PHP4EE Server consists of PHP 4.1, Apache 1.3.2x, MySQL-Max and the CVS version control system.
A web-based management interface allows the administrator to easily manage the Apache, MySQL, and PHP configuration, and to create different pre-defined types of distributed web server architectures. It also features popular MySQL management and CVS access applications.
On the client side, software developers can use a powerful IDE, Maguma PHP4EE Studio, to write their web applications. The new Maguma PHP4EE Visual Builder, which can be used alternatively to create PHP applications, is a visual editor to bring Rapid Application Development to PHP.
SQLPorter - a migration toolkit from other databases to MySQL
SQLPorter is a powerful and a high-performance database migration tool for MySQL. It will facilitate the movement of database schemas and data between different or same database platforms.
Some of the conversion options are:
- Microsoft SQL server (versions 6.5, 7.0 and 2000) to MySQL
- Oracle to MySQL
- Sybase to MySQL
- IBM DB2 to MySQL
Using SQLPorter you can migrate simple databases with the included wizard, and migrate complex databases with the full functioning GUI interface, which gives you more options to further refine the migration, such as selecting a list of tables only. You can take control of your migration remote from the source and destination database. The SQLPorter tool kit model makes it very portable, allowing you to import and migrate your data from Microsoft SQL server, using a laptop or a workstation remote from where the source and destination database are installed. Middlegen - a code generation tool for EJB 2.0
See the Middlegen home page.
Middlegen is a code generation tool for EJB 2.0 CMP/CMR Entity Beans. It is useful if you have a database with existing tables and you want to map the tables to Entity Beans. You don’t want to write a lot of code. You want the code to be generated. The code generated by Middlegen relies on further processing by XDoclet to produce even more code (home/remote/local interfaces, primary key classes and deployment descriptors).
Slash - a database-driven portal system
slash
2.1.0 (Dev) by Brian Aker
Friday, October 12th 2001 16:02
Slash is a database-driven portal system that uses Apache/mod_perl and MySQL. It offers a database abstraction layer that makes it easy to port to additional databases. It has been programmed to use persistance for a good deal of its variables to increase speed and efficiency. It was designed for running large portals but can be used for smaller personal web logs as well.
Slash has a wide variety of features, including extremely broad customizability options, templates, plugsin, news boards, RSS publishing, an advanced comment system and personal journals for all users. Changes: This is the code currently running slashdot. It includes the new discussion system, updated journals, message system, and a lot of feature enhancements. All live SQL queries are under a second and it has been tested with the MySQL Innodb table handlers. The first round of upgrade scripts have been included. Release focus: Major feature enhancements
