Reporting Bugs

Since support for the built-in InnoDB storage engine is provided by Sun/MySQL, please report bugs in InnoDB via the MySQL bug database. For the InnoDB Plugin, Embedded InnoDB and for InnoDB Hot Backup, please use the the InnoDB Forums to report bugs.

Discussing InnoDB

You can discuss InnoDB and the other Innobase products (the InnoDB Plugin, Embedded InnoDB and InnoDB Hot Backup) on the InnoDB Forums. These topical forums are great ways to obtain or offer help to other users, and to request new features. You can also connect with members of a community of helpful people who are knowledgeable in the InnoDB Forum on the MySQL site. Staff members of Innobase Oy frequently visit all of these forums.

You can also post your feedback on the MySQL mailing lists: see the documentation section of the MySQL website for instructions on how to subscribe and post to the mailing lists. The main mailing list, simply named mysql, is the liveliest one. You can browse and search the mailing lists at lists.mysql.com and also at the mailing list archives (MARC). The best method to search MySQL mailing lists is the Google Groups Search.
